Cor.: How did you first meet God? Answer: I seems like I have known God for my whole life. When I was a little girl, I prayed to God. I don’t remember anyone to teach me how to pray. I remember a story from my childhood. One summer we went to see our grandmother to Volgograd. We were walking in a park and decided to help the workers who were building an orthodox temple. We were a group of 7 to 8 year-olds and we carried white bricks in our little childish hands. Then they showed us the hill where the main temple was supposed to be built. There was a cross and a picture of Jesus on the cross. They told us to go there and pray... I prayed.. and I was flown away in the prayer... I don’t know how much time passed... but I couldn’t stop… it felt so good… Now I know that it feels like that when the Holy Spirit touches you tenderly. When I was a little girl, the Holy Spirit touched me. Cor.: What was you creative way like before you repented? Answer: I studied in a musical school. Cor.: When and how did you dicide to write and sing Christian songs? Answer: From the time I sing in the praise and worship band I have been dreaming to write songs for Him. Cor.: What it the name of your band and why did you choose this name? Answer: We don’t have a name. It’s just a praise and worship band of the church “New Life", the town of Brovary, or Andrey and Marina. Cor.: How do you write your songs? Answer: I have been praying for a long time to write songs for God… He told me: "Sit at the piano and I will give you..." And it really happened that way. For now I have only five songs. Cor.: What does music mean for you? Answer: Most of all I like to praise God and to worship Him. The music draws me closer to Tim. His music…. Cor.: What category of people do you sing for? ANswer: I sing my songs for God. As to the people… I don’t know. Cor.: Where do your concerts take place? Answer: We serve everywhere where we are invited. The only thing is that it shouldn’t be harmful for our ministry in Brovary. Most often we sing in the club of “Thirsty hearts”. Cor.: Could you tell us more about yourself? Answer: I study at Kiev National Trade and Economy University. My major is advertising. I am finishing the fourth year of studying. I am not married. My hobbies are the ministry and studying. I don’t have much time for anything else. May be, internet :)))) Cor.: How do you face difficulties? Does music help you it facing the difficulties? Can you give us an example? Answer: Yes, music does help. There was a story. This fall we were forbidden to meet in school. I was very discouraged. I came home, sat down at the piano, started praying and then reading psalms. David said: “I shall not slide". Then the song "God, You are my Lord!" was born. He comforted me. We still meet at that church and it is a MIRACLE of God. Cor.: Why do you play song of this certain style? Have you ever had the desire to change the style? Answer: It’s a hard question for me. I am not a professional musician. Besides, the style doesn’t really matter to me. The main thing is that the Holy Spirit should touch people’s hearts through this music. Cor.: What musicians or bands did you work with, did you learn something from them? Answer: Sometimes I sing with Valery Korop, Vlad Kanashin, Andrey Matweyev, I work with Andery Varezhnikov. Sure I can learn something from each of them. I was blessed when I started going to the club of “Thirsty hearts”. And I am still blessed. Cor.: How do you like the modern music world? What advantages and disadvantages do you see in it? Answer: I’d rather not answer this question?! I mostly listen to the Christian music. Cor.: What do you think, what are the most successful ways of Evangelism nowadays? Answer: What do you mean “successful ways”? I think that we are to spread the good news. How? God will show us the specific situations. We don’t work for our own good. Each method is effective in its perfect timing. Cor.: If you had the ability to change the world, what would you do the first thing? Answer: I would teach the people how to love… Cor.: What would you like to tell our readers and listeners? Answer: "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets”. Love God, love your neighbors, serve each other. Always act in love!
