Kazakhstan, particularly city Temirtau, Karaganda oblast, is the place where we were born and grew up. Since 1984 three of us - Vorobiov Alexander, Iskakov Sergey and Sokolov Sergey have been friends and coworkers. We did everything together: practiced playing music, performed at the weddings, entered musical school in 1986 and after graduating from it in 1991 moved to Moscow. God changed our concepts and views when we met young people in Moscow. Those young people feared God. They expressed purity and holiness. We were luck of these virtues. Soon after a new band “The way to heavens” (1992-1995) was started. Two other musicians, Roman Uglov and Denis Belyaev, joined the band. The famous preacher and teacher Brent Regis went on tours with the band to many cities in Russia. (Thank you Brent for being with us). In 1995 we moved to Kyrgyzstan. At that time each of us acted in his own way: Sergey was a director of “Good News” mission, Alexander was a director of the studio “New Day”, Sergey S. was a leader of the most poplar band in Kyrgyzstan “Elles”. The fourth band’s member Alexander Sokolov (Sergey’s brother) joined us in order to record the album “Where Angels Fly”. Now Alexander is a leader of “Armageddon” and pastor assistant in the church “New Life” in the city Tomertau. The album “Where Angels Fly” was recorded not long ago. There are 14 tracks totally. Music is the mixture of funk, soul, jazz and pop. Music has a profound meaning and content. The following people took part in the project: Sokolov Sergey – vocal and programming. Vorobiov Alexander – bass, guitar, vocal, sound. Iskakov Serik – saxophone, vocal, administration. Sokolov Alexander – vocal The band also goes on tours. The “Day Club” produces new songs. The new album will probably be presented in spring 2003. The record will take place at “New Day” studio. “Where Angels Fly” 1. Introduction 2. The Universe 3. I Am In Your Hand 4. Conclusion The concert was shot in the church “New Life” in Alma-Ata city.
