INTERVIEW
Romanenko Nikolay
Cor.: When did you decide to devote you creativity to God?:

Answer: I decided to compose and play Christian music after my encounter with the Lord, after some special spiritual experience in 1993.

Cor.: How are your songs being born?

Answer:The songs are born under God's guidance at nights when I feel God very close to me; I take guitar and the words and music come to my mind.

Cor.: What does music mean for you?

Answer:Music is a part of my life, my intimate relationship with the Lord. Music for me is something holy.

Cor.: Who do you sing your songs for?

Answer: I sing my songs for a wide circle of listeners: for the ones who are searching for God, loving Him and want to have the Kingdom of God in themselves. Now I sing for prisoners too.

Cor.: Can you tell us more about yourself?

Answer: I was born on May 5, 1964, have professional education. I have a son Vitaly (he is 14). My wife who endured me as a drug addict didn't understand my coming to God and there was alienation between us. Having found out about my wife's unfaithfulness I had a terrible spiritual crisis, after which I started experiencing life in a new way and feel God. He lifted me up again… We don't have spiritual understanding yet and for now we are not together but I pray that our family would restore.

I love to study the Scriptures, I love nature and sea. My friends are Christians who patiently look for the Lord and put this relationship above their own freedom. I have many friends among prisoners.

Cor.: Could you share with us your plans for future.

Answer: In future I plan to continue my ministry to the prisoners. It is not enough money to start a ministry but there is a great desire to help the one who are destined for the eternal death embark on the road of the Truth.
