The band has come into existance on the territory of some N-town, or, to put it simple - the town of Nickolayev where some four years ago there met several young men whose dreams didn't let them eat and sleep well. As a result the guys became DROZDY (mavis), the fact testified by their
** PAST HIDDEN IN THE DARKNESS**
The first dreamer was sonny Aleshen'ka, (his other names Lekha or DROZDETSKIY). His ancestry goes back to the ancient town of Novgorod where he was born on June 7, 1976 and spent his happy childhood. Later he spent his happy years in the town of Nickolayev. Lekha playedclassic doom-death-metal in the band «Tortured Christ» - until DEATH hadn't really came to him. However, they say, the angels live next to us. It was them who brought him right to the time whern the light poured down into his heart and opened his eyes to see the truth.
Walking in the woods Lekha saw a young man who was dying in a band under the name «The Empire of Fear», by the way - in "×åðâîíà Ðóòà" festival in 1996 it was nominated as the best band of the nation. He told him: let the world harvest its festivals and you'd better listen to the mavis singing.
Having followed Lekha's example, the young man became a bassist for DROZDY, and got a nick of solitary Paty. He started jealously reading the Bible and entered St. James College in Kiev - however the life of touring carried him along with endless advetures. Paty, unlike all the other members of the band, reads many wise books.
There was another man living in the same forest. According to the elders legend, he broke two sticks in the forest and smashed all his grandmother's pots and jars - in such a way a drummist was born. His name was Valerka, his nickname was Peckerwood. It was he who initiated the ancestry of DROZDY. He played very well and was even invited to play in the band "The Forgotten Continent" but he came across the two above-mentioned brothers and it all started...
