"he said such a refusal from money for living was crazy. I replied that I had chosen God and made a decision not to perform on the secular stage anymore. He said, 'Maybe you're right.'
So I had no money to live and, so to speak, died as a singer."

I was born the 8th of February, 1962, in the Ivanovskaya oblast in Russia. In 1979, I graduated from secondary public and music schools, and entered the Conductor's and Choir Department of a higher music school in the city of Vladimir. After I graduated in 1983, I moved to Sochi where I worked with the pop-group "Midi-Pop."

I sang at restaurants and dances. In 1988, I moved back to Vladimir. I was a successful singer, having performed on prestigious stages in Russia and appearing on the popular TV shows "120 minutes" and "Let's Sing Friends."

I repented before God in 1990, in a church, after a sermon by the well-known preacher Bob Weiner. After that I started writing and performing only Christian music. Several years later, I performed at the Sports Palace in Moscow, and then was invited to work at Association "Emmanuel," in Kiev. Since that time I've recorded three solo audio albums: "My Strength," "I Sing Praise!" and "There on the Cross." I also collaborated on a children's album, "Everything is Created by You", collections of Christian songs "There is a Way!" and "Light in the East," and cartoons and video programs created by CBN.
My son Maxim and I now live in Kiev; I work at Association "Emmanuel."
